Last years 2 fundraising events were a huge success. One being the Jerry Parins Appreciation Dinner and the 4th annual 'Harry Sydney Greater Miller Lite Shootout'. We would like to thank everyone that came out and supported our program!!!

Meet our new mentor

Wayne Stanz comes to My Brother’s Keeper with prior law enforcement experience and extensive school administrative experience as a former Dean of Students.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Environmental Law from UW Stevens Point with certificates in police recruit training, mandatory reporting, safe environment training and counseling experience through the Stanley King Counseling Institute in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Aligning with the philosophy of My Brother’s Keeper, Wayne is excited to encourage men to be accountable for their decisions and make those decisions ethically and honestly.  He is committed to supporting the vision of My Brother’s Keeper where all men are encouraged to reflect upon their course of actions, modify their behavior to improve their lives and the lives of those around them. 

Wayne is an avid outdoorsman and hunter and was featured in “Big Buck” magazine for a record bow hunting buck kill in upper Michigan.  He enjoys hiking, scuba diving and fishing with his wife Julianne in their home town. Wayne says he “welcomes the opportunity to work with Harry Sydney and support the vision set forth in My Brother’s Keeper”.
